I had a mixed experience at the resort. The location is peaceful and the views are breathtaking, but the service was often slow and disorganized. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, which I appreciated. While the food quality varied, I did enjoy some local dishes. Our stay at the Doubletree Allamanda was delightful, thanks to the beautiful beachfront location and the spacious, clean rooms that offered stunning sea views. I had a wonderful vacation at this small, intimate hotel with just 30 rooms. The serene atmosphere and friendly staff made for a truly relaxing experience. The breakfast was a highlight, but the dining overall was excellent, especially the Creole night. On the downside, I did notice some areas that could use renovation, and the beach had some seaweed, which was a bit of a letdown.
